    I'm New!
  1. Cheers. Just looking for a general idea of the line of questioning. Thats perfect, a great help. I'll just need to work on my spelling as that can let me down when I'm rushed. I guess the rest is down to my personal response. Thanks again Paul.
  2. Thankyou for your reply paul. What sort of format is paper? Just simple questions with a space to provide answeres or something bit more complicated? Also, what type of question might I expect?
  3. Hi all, I'm quite new to the site and I am currently applying to Lothian and Borders. I have my Fitness test for Lothian and Borders on the 28th of March. Training is going well. I understand that the day includes a 1 hour Paperwork Excercise. I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what that might entail, and what preperation I may be able to take before hand. Thank you! Andrew
  4. It’s possible a lot of people think "it's much easier if I don't get involved, I have my own problems." It's unfortunate, but we have probably all done it at least once, probably more. Another possibility is, like you said, people are under the impression that there isn’t really much that can be done once the guy has got away. Even if you do report it as soon as you can.
  5. I really just wanted to say hello to everyone first of all :) I just started my application for Lothian and Borders on the 1st so I'm currently working on the 4 questions that are asked at this stage. I was just wondering if anyone who has been through the application process (particularly for L&B) could give me any useful advice or insight. The part I am most worried about is the first interview as I have read that the questions that are asked can be quite extensive. Thank you!
