  1. Bleep Test

I play a lot of football and I can say from my experience the 1.5mile run is much easier than attaining 5.4 on the bleep test. Practically anyone who has some sort of fitness will pass it. I wouldn’t really be worried about it unless you’re injured and can’t run. Pace yourself out, start off hot sprinting, keep in line, it’s not a race, everyone can practically pass if you keep up. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had AC last Tuesday and my medical is mid January. I heard from AC the following day but was suppose to hear the same day (mobile number was not updated on to the system). They will tell you on the day when you can expect to hear from them. I would get your medical in to the doctor if they have already sent you the forms because some docs can take a few weeks to get them back to you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No problem at all, don’t remember your answers word for word. Otherwise you’ll sound robotic and you’ll panic if you don’t say it the way you remembered. Also, listen to the question, don’t just answer what you learnt word for word, it could be the difference in a pass and a fail because they want you to clearly demonstrate that you are capable by providing evidence on the question they ask. You’ll be just fine if you use STAR, remember the competency indicators. Good luck! :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Follow the competency descriptors and you cannot go wrong. If you satisfy the descriptors you’ll do just fine. I he two examples for personal effectiveness and three for personal awareness. They were the two hardest competencies for me too but remember the examples do not need to be world saving examples, just ones that reflect the descriptors in your answer. Also use the star technique, it’s vital that you do. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m scared about waffling haha, will take a deep breath? Maybe some yoga tonight [emoji851] I’ve prepared a negative feedback example so that’s good to know. Code of ethics and standards of professional behaviour I’ve covered also. Do they probe a lot? Or put you on the spot? I’ve studied what partnership working is, who the police work in partnership with (20 examples) and why it’s important. Could they ask me an example of who I’ve worked in partnership? Or did they ask you the sort? Thanks for your advice [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
