  2. Hi, @Tomathon01 if you get no response here, please do try our sister forums www.policecommunity.co.uk.
  3. This section of the forum is for you to post any non-police related current affairs story that warrants serious discussion, whether it's UK related or not Please note that due to copyright restrictions you must only include the title, the first line of the article and a link to the original article. Articles from the BBC can be posted in full, but must also include a link to the original article. So before posting an article from a newspaper please check to see if it is available from the BBC instead. We are allowed to post a limited number of Police Oracle articles, in full, each month. Therefore, if you want to share a Police Oracle story, please only include the first line of the article and a link to the original article. All news articles will be hidden until moderator approval is given. Before posting in the News area can I please request that you: .post the story (for BBC news articles only) or the first line of the article (all other sources) and not just a link. Not everybody is able to follow a link so can't therefore see your story. .ensure you include a link and cite the source of your news story - we do not own the copyright and MUST credit the source. I'd also like to remind police officers, PCSOs, police staff and police volunteers not to release any information whatsoever that is not already in the public domain. "In the public domain" means the information has already been widely circulated on TV and/or radio, in the mainstream press, or on public access internet news sites. Note that on occasion, information which has previously been published in the mainstream may for legal reasons be subject to reporting restrictions at a later time; such information must not be reproduced here on the forum. Doing so may jeopardise ongoing police investigations and/or legal proceedings and may result in prosecutions for example under the Data Protection Act or Official Secrets Act. When replying to news articles please remember that everyone is (under the UK legal system) innocent until proven guilty beyond all reasonable doubt. Thank you for your cooperation.

  5. Hello new member. Feel free to start a thread with any title you like although you may want to include your forum name in there. Let us know as much or as little about yourself (this isn't compulsory, you don't have to make a thread if you don't want to). You can include stuff like why you've come here, are you serving or not, do you want to become part of the police family, what do you do for a living, are you from the the North or the South (for some reason this means a lot to some people), anything you can think of you may want to tell us. Be prepared to be welcomed by our existing members and to maybe field a question or two. Even if you aren't going to post........ Welcome to the forum from all of the Admin and Moderating team.
  6. The posting of videos on the UKPoliceonline forum is permitted providing that the video is readily available in the public domain. We do not accept videos that show severe graphical content which includes deceased bodies, sexual scenes or acts of violence that directly result in death and show that death within the video itself. Videos which may be under current investigation by the Police can be posted as long as they fit within the above criteria, however, any discussion around such videos must be based on information already in the public domain from official sources, posting information which is not in the public domain is strictly prohibited. If requested by an investigating body a video and all discussion may be removed by the Administration or Moderation team without warning Where possible we would prefer it if you could embed the video into your thread, for YouTube videos this is simply copying the URL across and the forum software will do the rest. Facebook, Live leak etc only Admin or a Mod will be able to embed, so just paste the webpage link, and a member of staff will eventually embed the video for you.
  7. Instead of the bickering, can we all just get back on topic, if you have no interest in this topic, please move on to something else, thanks.
  8. Seems like he has hours left in the job, always thought he was the wrong man for the job, what was Fergie thinking recommending someone who had no experience at the top level. Klopp for me is a certain favourite for the job, however I would not discount Fergie coming back.
  9. Could members not post unconstructive, off-topic posts, if any members feels the need to share a bit of humour, there is always the Canteen, where you can share your jokes, till your heart is content
