Hi Folks

We have decided that the next competition that will run for the next few weeks will be a very simple one where members of this forum are empowered to be able to vote for one member who they feel should be voted as the UKPoliceOnline Members Choice for Member of The Year!

All you need to do is post the name of the member that you feel should be awarded with the award.

You can vote for the member for any reason that you feel is appropriate, there is no criteria, it is simply who you feel should be presented with this award.

Each member is entitled to one vote and any additional entries by the same member will not be counted. We will take their first vote. You can vote for anyone except any of the moderating or admin team or your self. In addition the moderating and admin team are excluded from partaking in the voting as this is the members choice award.

The winner will receive the following award (Member has been voted as the UKPoliceOnline "Annual Member of The Year" by the members of the forum!) which will show on their profile for 12 months.
The winner will also receive 3 months FREE subscription to the Power User group and receive there Power User badge FREE for 3 months.

So to vote simply type the name of the person you vote for in this topic. If you wish to include a reason feel free but you do not have to. This is an award that many im sure would love to have and is probably the most precious award there is as the winner will know that it is the community that have voted for them. Who better to appreciate you than your fellow members!

This topic will automatically close at 1pm on Wednesday 29th February 2012 and the winner will then be announced and given the award.

We intend for this to take place annually and run from the 1st March each year.

Folks

Just a little update, members have contacted me on a few occasions now to say that they are;

• not comfortable in voting publicly and
• that there are more than one person they would like to vote for.

As such we are now going to continue with the competition as follows;

• Any votes that you make will not display in the topic, they will go into a moderation queue
• We would now like you to name your top 3 members rating them 1st 2nd and 3rd
• First place will score three points, second place will score 2 points and third place will score 1 point
• No results will be published until the end of the competition where I will score every member that has been voted for

IF you have already voted we are happy for you to resubmit your vote with your 1st 2nd and 3rd place candidates. If we do not hear from the people who have already voted then we will class their single vote as their first place vote and award the nominated member with 3 points.

The members that have already placed votes are Kenworthy, Soren, & Fedster - therefore these members may re-submit their vote should they wish.

Remember - once you have posted it will not show to anyone including yourself and will be held in a moderation queue for Black Rat or myself to see.

Well the votes have been added and verified and the scores of the top three are as follows;
