I am starting in 2 weeks and wondered if there is anything that anyone can recommend to take to tulliallan that is not on the "list" ? I like to be organised and don't want to forget anything! Got all kit, pe stuff, shoe polish etc. but is there anything anyone thought "oh I wished I took that". I've even bought an iron (just in case), cereal bars etc (as food meant to be rotten). Thanks

Your own iron, doesnt have to be fancy, cheap one I got in tesco was perfect and a towel so that I could iron on the desk in my room. Used a tea towel as an ironing cloth when pressing thos creases into your breeks!

Tulli has Irons and boards but you need to find them on an evening.

Wooden ruler for your trouser creases.

Kettle for your room (if you like coffee like me), lots of paper and pens.

Red bull.

A long handcuff key and key holder for utility belt (if not force supplied).

A lighter, (for stripping bull and burning loose threads).

Bottled water... And if you've had the week I've just had, bleach and cleaning products...

I never used one as a rule!,on occasion I would slide a bit of damp soap,up the inside of the crease, then press.

Pritt stick (other brands are available!) works too and that doesn't foam if it rains! Didn't ever need a ruler TBH.
Half width of wonder web ironed in the creases is ace for your parade trousers too, cut yer hand on 'em!
