Hi everybody!

Just been accepted to Grampian Police and will be starting Tulliallan in Janrary 2013. Thought i would start a wee topic to see if anybody else was is on that intake, and basically any queries or questions about going!

At Tulliallan is there bedding provided or do we have to take our own? ie. duvet? Anybody got some useful tips or advice such as other things to bring that aren't listed on the sheet provided?

Cheers! :)

Hi mate,

I also start in January, however, I have a final pre-employment fitness test in less than two weeks. What sort of stuff was on the list?

Thats great mate. Well done!

On the list is basically what you need for going to Tulliallan. White Tshirts, shorts, parade shoes, boots, socks, brushes for polishing your shoes, and other things. Theres more but i cant remember off the top of my head! The basic stuff you need for going.

what force are you with?

No quilt needed you have to use theirs for inspection. Do your shoes before you start, will save you time. All this will be covered during your force induction (mod 1) so don't panic.

Thats true! Im thinking of the spider 8.1's i think. Seem like a good boot for a good price! Not wanting to spend a fortune on a pair! I got my shoes onine the other day so thats one less thing to worry about!!

Bobbin, do you have your fitness on the 7th of Dec? I've set a thread up in the Strathclyde forum for people joining in January.

The shop at Jackton has some good boots, I bought some Bates Ultra Lites from there after my medical last week. Cost me £59.99, very comfy.
