Just read my starter pack and it says patent toe caps aren't permitted. Does that mean you can't have something like this then? My friend was in Tulliallan a few years back and these are the ones he has told me to buy? http://galleryplus.ebayimg.com/ws/web/300841413457_1_0_1/1000x1000.jpg

Yeah, received mine too! I was being revetted as it had been a while since my first vetting so that must have come back all clear i'd imagine.
  3. Cheers, will find out tomorrow one way or the other. Hate waiting. ha
  4. Sorry no information for the written assignment. I'm just curious if you did your SET last Monday? I did mine then but still have no word as of yet. Worried now that they let everyone know who passed first? Thanks
  5. Hi, My partner is an assistant manager of a pub which is part of a large chain. She has a personal licence as part of this job. I have just read on this site that if you or your partner is a licencee or publican then it will make it very difficult to join the police. I am in the process of applying for a Scottish force can anyone shed any light on this? Can't believe my partner being a pub manager would stop me from being a police officer? Thanks for any replies
  6. Hey, I have also handed an application in. Can I ask when you handed yours in and how long it took to hear you have passed? I'm still waiting on a response.
