    Transferring To Surrey

Thanks for the response Pegasus0! I’m from the Frimley/Camberley area originally and all my family still live there so when you say ‘West is best’ I 100% agree with you! I’d like to work the area I grew up in, it’s familiar and I know it well. Only negative would be seeing people I recognise from younger years, haha! I know Surrey employ the same 6 on 4 off pattern that West Mids do, but in West Mids if you’re a response officer that’s all you do. After locking someone up, we complete an arrest statement and it gets handed over to Force CID - we carry no workload. Surrey operates different if I’m correct?

    Transferring To Surrey

Hi all - I’ve recently completed my probation period with West Midlands Police and within the next 2 years will look to relocate back where my family live (Surrey), and will apply for a transfer. I know very little about transferring at present, so looking for some info. I am booked on to undertake my taser x26 course in December this year, and just awaiting a date for my response driving course and PO level II. Does anyone know whether we can take these tickets with us when we transfer or will we lose this and have to retrain with our new force all over again to obtain these? Thanks in advance.

    Transfer to Surrey Police?

Hi guys - I’m also considering Surrey Police to transfer to. If you are already taser trained with your current force, can we take this ticket with us or will I lose this once transferring? Thanks!

    West Mids Anyone

I've been in since September last year, and the final interview was actually my favourite part of the whole recruitment process. If you relax and think about the PPF in your answers you will be absolutely fine. Obviously remember what you put in your first application too because they might ask you some questions related to that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

WHAT DO YOU EAT WHILE ON THE BEAT

I'm much the same as propidol - I don't eat much at work! Especially on response, if I eat at all it's an apple or an energy bar!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Wmp Kit 2016

That's odd! Maybe they will send some more long sleeve shirts to HQ for your start??

    West Mids Anyone

Hi both! Thought I'd written on here more recently... I've been given a start date of 26th September and have the pre-enrolment evening tonight. Anyone else going to be there this evening?

    Wmp Kit 2016

It's for on the spot fines - mostly used in traffic stops etc.

    Wmp Kit 2016

They are black tops - definitely not cotton shirts. I want to say they are mostly polyester??
