convictions and bans

Hey guys. Just studying for my final training school exam and I cant remember what the rules are for convictions and lengths of bans on firearms.

Can anyone enlighten me please?

Easy way to remember bans is three three's are five.

If the conviction (what they were sentenced to not what they actually served) was:

Less than 3 months is no ban

3 months to 3 years is 5 year ban from the date of release

3 years and over is permanent ban
