Private Investigators

Recommended Posts

Have any of you folk had dealings with them?

I recently dealt with a case of a young couple, where the mother clearly didn’t approve of the daughters choice of boyfriend (and first tried us, definitely no crime)  so employed a private investigator to dig dirt. The private investigator then seemed to put a lot of effort into manipulating the daughter towards crossing into false allegation territory.

Again, no crime as far as the boyfriend was concerned.

I am very concerned at how much damage these PIs can potentially do - very much distrusting and disrupting  our work.

Anyine else with some light?

TIA

Slight late reply as not been on site for a while.  Perhaps the key question is to ascertain who engaged the PI and what they were asked to achieve.  Was it mother's influence as the instructing person to the PI to see how it can be angled towards allegations or was it of their own back?
Until such time as to e'daughter' makes an allegation, not sure how the PIs activity will influence any other investigation.  Could you expand?
