About time.

An automatic call detector that launches a nuke at the insurance call centre when the poor copper gets a call whilst he is trying hard to sleep after a crap graveyard shift.

**************************Coming Soon************************ "A Copper is as prepared as the condition of his kit." We all know the amount of battering that our boots take everyday. Having been on the beat, I know that my boots are the most important part of my kit. We appreciate that a good pair of well looked after boots is our pride and joy. A nice polished pair of duty boots helps us look professional. Also, with the winter wet/ snowy weather fast approaching, this is the most crucial time to get your boots waterproofed. The salt content in the grit combined with water cuts through the top coating of leather and deteriorates its quality. I understand not everyone has the timetot the products to look after ther boots. I have therefore started up this service to help you take pride in your boots and to care for them. Services available: 1) Basic Boot polishing - Multi coats. 2) High gloss polishing - Mirror shine. 3) Water Proofing Only - Chemical multi coats. 4) Water Proofing Only - Natural beeswax, dubbin and natural oils. 5) Beeswaxing. 6) Mega Care Package - The ultra package includes cleaning, chemical water proofing (two layers), Natural waterproofing (beeswaxing, dubbin, natural oils), multi coat polishing, bulling and Gloss shining. Affordable reasonable pricing. Send a Private Message for any enquiries.

Maybe if these local governments invested some extra money in 20 coppers instead of 15 THEO's, they would've ended up with more of us on the beat.
-
Yup. TPS is a good option but it only incorporates calls from UK based sales agents. I am already a member but still receive calls from call centres abroad.
-
A solution for those who are easily pissed off by cold callers: 1) Answer the call. 2) Be nice and polite 3) show an interest in the product they are selling 4) Possibly take out a quote (OPTIONAL) 5) Make up a bogus excuse and put the sales agent to hold 6) Tell him you'll be back in a second 7) Press the Secrecy/Mute/Hold button 8) Leave the phone off the hook 9) Chuckle with laughter Telesales companies comply with their code of conducts. The sales agents for most companies are not allowed to hang up on customers for set time periods. For eg: A sales agent for one of the major insurance brokers is not allowed to terminate an ongoing phonecall with a potential client for 25 minutes unless he is being verbally abused. He therefore has to wait till the client gets back from putting him on hold for that period before he can hang up. They eat into my sleep after night shifts and I shall eat into their commission.

I think I might give up and become a THEO for that money. LOL. N.E.V.E.R Employer:London Borough of Tower Hamlets Job: Enforcement officer Reference:CLC/2349 Salary:£37,851 - £40,506 Hours:35 Working pattern:Evenings, Full Time, Permanent position Location:E14 2BB Closing date:27/11/2009 23:30 PM Do you have a strong desire to put a stop to anti-social behaviour (ASB), dumped rubbish, health & safety hazards and eyesores in public areas? I am surely singing along the christmas 'jingle bells' parody at my station. LOL

I work for a force that has a MOD site on their area. The MOD officers have come to our rescue on countless occassions, especially when we have had some trouble near their site and our own officers have been miles away. Back to the main post: I have a mate who has transferred from MOD. Although you have been out of touch with regular policing duties, You will be able to transfer to TVP based on your merits. You will also complete the NVQ as normal if you have already not completed it.

Yup mate. Smells fishy to me too. You are not doing a wholly convincing job. Which company do you work for. And as far as market research goes, I am sure you can ask your potential customers to send out workplace surveys. You do not seem genuine at all. Especially when you come onto a public forum and ask such questions.
