Those that have actual intake dates, did you ever get notified that vetting was complete? Or is it just an ongoing process? Got an email today from vetting asking for more information, just a worry..even though I've nothing to hide.......just want another box ticked!

Thank you, yeah I've heard the day is quite good fun, im comfortable with that...im sure I'll relax and enjoy it. Just putting pressure on myself cause its the final hurdle... I'll let you know how it goes

Thank you, hows prep going? ....im struggling to be honest, done loads for initial interview, but felt like i over complicated it.....changing my approach a little this time...and just learning the competencies and hoping i can think on my feet more 😨

Does anyone know if the partnership working competency is more of a factual based question, something like: Tells us who Police Scotland work with and why? Rather than : Tells us of time you worked alongside a partner agency? Hope that makes sense

Oh tough one....i think id ask to come back to that question and carry on with the rest of the interview and go back to it.

I didn't.....i had loads of examples and didn't use any because the questions didn't fit....but don't allow that to panic you....just learn what the competencies are....and think of general examples for each one .....but not in too much depth. You've got this 👍👍

I was asked what the code of ethics was and what an officer does on a daily basis.....nothing else on job knowledge! Forget the job knowledge, you know enough! and get stuck into the competencys 👍 P.s current campaign is domestic abuse campaign Before Christmas was the 'one punch' campaign

Thanks guys! The biggest tip I can give, is relax...it wasn't as intense as i had imagined, the interviewers really put me at ease. I learned the key points of the competency, got a general understanding of each of them. I prepared pages of examples, but if im honest....i struggled to use them for the questions that was asked....i had to think on my feet which was fine because i felt relaxed enough.
