Yeah sorry about that haha ... The Specials is something I did for nearly 7 years with Tayside Police / Police Scotland. Was an excellent insight into policing and an amazing experience. Unfortunately had to give it up after I qualified in my current job. Think most people I spoke to at the fitness test were either specials (current and former) with police Scotland or BTP. Think it is still under the consultation period and if it were to happen it is likely to be 2019 at the earliest. There is still a few candidates with conditional offers in the pool system from the last recruitment drive which are away to be allocated an intake soon. Keep a wee eye out anyway. Just the bleep. All forces in England and Wales abs BTP have the same fitness test. Police Scotland it is a bleep test and the pas score dependent on gender and age. A male <29 must reach 9.2 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey Frisby- I was at the Assessment Centre as well. Usually with interviews you have an idea of how it went but this time I didn't have a clue what way it would go. Was chuffed when I got the email!
