Hi and well done on passing your initial fitness. When I was preparing for my interview I made sure I had an example prepared for each aspect of the competency, so a time I was good at it and a time I wasn't so good at it. This meant that there wasn't really any surprises that I wasn't prepared for. However, more specifically for personal effectiveness I looked at how I managed to prepare for university work but also work part time and preparing myself for the police application and how I managed my time. They asked me something along the lines of organising/prioritising plans/work. Hope this helps!

I was wondering if anyone had any advice for the initial interview. Do they ask you only question for each competency or do they ask multiple? And also for Job knowledge is it just one question or more?

Yeah, i know for sure that will get a much better score on my final fitness, I was just wondering if they will mention it as I'm sure they said you would find out what level you actually got to at your interview, so was just wondering that they must discuss it or something? And okay thank you very much! So focus more on actions of it. Also one more question. Would they prefer all work related answers or things that you have experienced in life in general ? Hey! I'm new to this online forum thing. I have my initial interview at the end of March. Was hoping if anyone has any advice on the best way to prepare for it? And if anyone can remember any of the questions they were asked? I was also dissappointed with my bleep test score as I had a chest infection while running it, I was just wondering will they question me on my score? Thanks :)
