Thanks for the reply. Thats good to know. I enjoy a jog twice a week but I'm predominately a weights person myself. Glad to see there seems to be some variation.

Hey just wondering if any current/recently left probationary would be able to tell me about the physical education at training. I'm intrigued to know if it is mostly distance running or intervals etc? And if so what distances did u have to cover? I haven't ran more than 5k in a while so just looking to up that.

No it was my phone call to say i passed AC. And also during AC they basically go and enjoy your summer etc because you won't be going anywhere soon.

I'm going for E div. I was told in my provisional acceptance phone call in feb, that the intakes have been all over the place due to factors like how many people are retiring in the year etc

There is a lot of red tape with unfair dismissal now tho. So unless you had worked a notice period then asked for your job back i'm sure you would be ok. Hopefully i get into the september intake. But they where fairly certain at Jackton that my group would be in the winter/next year.

We had been told not to read into it because its so far away that none of the staff knew much about it. That being said i would basically learn one sentence on what it is just in case.

Basically comes down to when where you effective for taking responsability and getting things done. I ended up usuing examples i had not written down bit came to mind.

It was a challenge yes. But if you apply yourself in studying and can keep your head during the interview all will be well. I had never done a competency based interview or a panel interview so it was a big learning curve. The whole process is an emotional rollercoaster lol
