That’s sad to hear. Same with me too... I’ve given in my notice to my current employer and the last thing I want is for the dates to change. Fingers crossed for the best!

A person just can’t seem forget about it lol 😂 And also I saw your post in my other feed... we was on the same Day 2 26th July - and I was wishing if only I’d get a few peoples numbers to keep in touch to see what everyones applications process is at. Nice to know other people’s applications are being accepted. It almost felt as if I was forgotten 😂😂

Lol same with me - As soon as I put the phone down I accepted it within seconds too I had a phone call on the 20th of Feb saying the first CKP start date is on the 2nd of March - I really wanted to accept but wanted to give at leat a months notice... a 2 week notice wouldn't of been enough. Asked for the next available start date and it was on the 9th of April - a month and a half away! - Actually feels like a year and a half away to me lol Do you know when we receive our warrant cards? I've read on the forums that it is a week before we go out on our 1 week police patrol on the 10th week of training. Just out of utter curiosity which boroughs have you chosen? I've chosen Haringey as my first followed by Camden, Westminster, Chelsea & Kensington, Islington & Newham.

Well it was a loong waiting game. I’ve had my Day 2 on July the 26th last year and it’s just been a case of waiting. Was relieved when I got the phone call. I also got all my documents and important info sent over to me via e-mail. Have you got yours too? They did advise me that the course locations and borough postings will be sent to us a week before the CKP starts.

Congrats! I’m also starting my CKP on the 9th of April and training start date for the 29th of May! if all is well I guess I’ll see you there then! As the start date gets nearer the anticipation is getting to me! I just want to start 😂😂👮🏻‍♂️

Hi, Thanks! Yes it is for the Met Police. As you’ve completed your CKP externally I believe you will receive your training date for the 29th of May. I’ve been booked for the pc training on 29th May. Which boroughs have you chosen?

Hi, I’ve just received my offer for start of CKP on the 9th of April with the PC training commencing on the 29th of May. I was told that the CKP and FDC training venues will be given a week before the start of the CKP. How are you guys koping? Has anyone got their offer yet? Would love to meet a few people prior to training! I’ve been waiting since 25th July 2017 and all I can say is patience.

Hi, I've attended my Day 2 on 26th June 2017 and I'm still to receive a response.

Hi all, I'm new to this forum so still trying to get used to al the topics etc. I've attended my day 2 fitness test on the 26th of July 2017 and while checking to see if I had submitted all my documents the lady told me to give in my notice to my current employer as I will be starting early September - Fast forward 7 months and I've still to receive a response. On my online account it still says 'part of the employment process requires you to go undergo pre-employment checks'. On the 16th of Jan 2018 I've received an email saying 'We have been conducting a review of your application, as we are anticipating that your vetting clearance will be returned to us in the coming weeks and we would like to know your position with the CKP. if you already hold a CKP or are working towards one and will be completing it shortly then please contact us as soon as possible so we can update your application. Please send your response to [email protected]. Alternatively, you can phone us on 01633 632500'. I replied saying I want to do the CKP internally with the MET as that was what I chose when applying and I'm yet to receive any response. Is there anyone that could give me some insight?
