Hopefully this will change peoples views on there gun laws.

That won't happen, the US are obsessed with guns and after this there will be even more gun sales.

An interesting article on why this keeps happening

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-32740523

There is a low level war over there between sections of the black community and some of the police, made deadly by the widespread possession of guns. Give a man a hammer an everything becomes a nail.

We recently lost five brother officers in Dallas. One of these men was a close friend. All wore the blue and are our brothers. Do not believe everything you see on TV across the pond. Yes, we have a few bad apples but we did not deserve this. Any prayers would be appreciated as we still have officers in the hospital. Thank you and stay safe. Love your country by the way. Clark

The Thin Blue Line may have gotten a little thinner , but have no doubt it will hold.

I'm going to move this to Foreign Policing News so that more people see it.

If you are so inclined, please feel free to offer your prayers to your god of choice and feel free to add any comments (though silly/rude ones will be deleted).

I am disturbed that the killer, after being contained in an empty building and having been shot, was negotiated with for only 2 hours and then the police blew him up with a bomb. I would hope if something like that happened here we would still be negotiating with him 2 days later and would only kill if he came back out shooting.

Good to see that the hindsight brigade is still going strong.

2 hours to get a bomb seems a long time to me.
